Tracking Underwear

Joyce: Bobby, have you been changing your underwear everyday?

Bob: As far as I know, I haven't been changing anyone else's.

Joyce: I just did a load of laundry that had four pairs of my underwear and one of yours.

Bob: Was it a white load?

Joyce: Yeah ...

Bob: So maybe I've been wearing the colored underwear you bought me?

Joyce: Oh, right. Never mind.

I beg to differ, as your great grandmother Ruth used to say...

or was it your Grandmother Ruth?

That was my maternal grandmother, but she went by Gramma.

in the last load, I had two bras and one pair of underwear to your two pair of underwear. and four towells and six washcloths...

The bras were yours. (Trust me on that.)

Laundry math is a fluid concept at best.

yes, we seem to only need a load of whites, a load of colored towels, and a load of our perma press. and every other day. not every day. I did wash Amber's new favorite jeans 'cause her sister's dog (in heat) had marked them and Brody was going crazy like a cat with catnip

Joyceee--
It's a shame you haven't broken me of dressing funny.

LeeAnn--
True. But Laundry English Comp is even more slippery.

I remember something similar with my son when he was a youngster. Six pairs of jeans, six little t-shirts, only one pair of underwear in the laundry - we had a talk. he said he didn't think his underwear was dirty so he wore the same pair over and over. Well, I guess if it does not have grass stains, it is not truly dirty.

I was afraid Bob was "changing underwear" everyday by simply adding another pair on top of the last.

::shudder::

Good luck, Joyce.
Really. ;-)
