Joyce suggested I post some pictures of our house with luminarias. So just to make my wife happy (and I always aim to please), here are a couple of shots (from 19 years ago) of luminarias in our front yard.
That's okay to celebrate or think about Christmas so early. This morning at breakfast, we were talking about buying a green artifical tree instead of putting up our silver one that we bought in 1971 for just under $7, I think. We are also talking about goodies that I would make for the holidays. Yeah, Christmas!
Donna-- I agree. Joyce is already ready to string the outdoor Christmas lights, but we really should hold off a little longer -- lest folks wonder if we just never bothered to take them down last year.

I always loved the luminarias in Taos, but never put any up myself. Andy was very cute.
Thanks, dear. Andy still is handsome, as are ALL our sons, 'cause they come from a mighty handsome DAD !!!
And leave it to us to celebrate Christmas ahead of Halloween.
